Cheney sold that division of the business some time ago. The new company makes them the same dimensions, etc., except for a couple of small cosmetic changes. The latch is 2 1/4″ long and 1 1/4″ high. The price is per latch. (1) I HAVE REPAIR KITS with the split rivets in them to fix 2 latches. The kit is 2.00 each, or you can request a single hinge repair kit. for 1.00 each.
Most of the NEW Cheney (top, hasp) latches don’t interchange with the VINTAGE ’60’s. The ’70’s and ’80’s are different and the ’90’s, etc. don’t interchange either, if you are trying to replace the top hasp. (The spring breaks in them.) So you have to change the top and bottom together as always.
