1. Stay away from liquids

Use a grounded, three-pronged power supply. Never try to cut off the prong at the bottom even if it’s hard to find an outlet for it. The third prong is there for a reason, and cutting it off can be extremely dangerous as it can affect the flow of electricity to your equipment and it can cause injury to you or others.
